Sometimes it wasn’t meant to be.
The Dragons Girls Volleyball team found that out losing in
four games to Clarkston for the second straight season in the MHSAA District
State Playoffs in four games 23-25, 25-23, 23-25, 16-25 on Wednesday night in
Clarkston.
The eighth ranked Wolves and fifth ranked Orion battled back
and fourth most of the night with 25-23 games. It could have gone either way
but at the end Clarkston found a way on their homecourt to move on.
The Wolves move onto the district final and will host
Brandon on Thursday night.
Orion concludes its season at 43-8 record. They will lose
some great seniors in Iyria Kalaj, Erin Collins, and Danielle Sargent.
It’s always hard to lose these type of games, it always is.
