The Lake Orion Dragons transformed itself from Bruce Banner into the Incredible Hulk on Friday Afternoon at Ford Field

Lake Orion, number two in the Dragons Den poll rolled over the Troy Athens Red Hawks 68-20. The Dragons kept the Red Hawks win-less in the series in 12 years.

The Dragons scored 34 points in the first half and had 488 yards rushing the whole game.

Leading the attack was slot running back Zach Arnold who in the first half scored twice and had 140 yards on five carries.

Next up was slot running back Corey Ester whom had 130 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries

This is the second time the Red Hawks allowed a team to rush over 350 yards. Last week Warren Mott had 385 rushing yards, tonight the Dragons had 488 yards.

The Dragons however did get a defensive touchdown from Nick Booker. Booker returned a James Ortmann interception and did some dance moves toward the end zone for the score.

Lake Orion is now 2-0 and 1-0 in the Red. Troy Athens who had high expectations to start the season is 0-2 and 0-1 in the Red. Troy Athens plays at Wisner Stadium next week against Pontiac while Lake Orion travels to West Bloomfield and plays the Lakers.
