Dragons fall this week at Harrison

Written, Tuesday October 19th, at 8:30 PM

Hello fans once again in the Dragons Den, sorry I've haven't been writing for a few weeks now because of my busy schedule at Oakland and what has been going on throughout Lake Orion.

This week the Dragons went to Farmington Hills for a 40 year anniversary of Farmington Hills Harrison High School and it's only known coach John Herrington.

The Hawks wouldn't disappoint the home fans as they came in the number one team in division two while the Dragons were number two in division one. The Hawks steamrolled the Dragons in a surprising 28-6 victory on Saturday afternoon sending the Dragons to their first loss of the season.

This week the Dragons are now 7-1, all ready playoff bound, and if the season ended today the Dragons would be on the road to Romeo and to Clarkston at some point because of playoff points. The Wolves have 96, the Bulldogs have 93, while the Dragons have 91.

Thankfully the Dragons have another game yet to play, it's bragging rights, and it's for the OAA Red title. That showdown is set for Friday Night at 7 PM with Clarkston at Lake Orion. Clarkston enters the game also 7-1, there only loss was to Adams in week one. The Wolves are led by a strong defense, and their offense has came along as the season went on. This should be an interesting contest. JV and Freshman teams respectably are a combined 39-1, if you count that the Dragons play two Freshman teams, this should be war on Thursday at Clarkston Jr High and Clarkston respectably. The other freshman team will play Oxford on Thursday afternoon at Lake Orion to close out their season. GO GREEN.
