Dragons March On to 3-0. Await Cougars next.

The night was as expected and the Dragons can move one step closer to its goal, A league championship.

The Dragons rolled past the West Bloomfield Lakers 42-7 on Friday night at West Bloomfield sending its record to 3-0, and 2-0 in the Red. Lake Orion is tied with Clarkston at 3-0 and 2-0 for first place in the Red. The Dragons and Wolves will play each other in week eight at Lake Orion.

West Bloomfield was no match for the Dragons on both sides of the ball. Lake Orion scored four times in the first quarter and led 35-0 at halftime.

Lake Orion then scored in the third quarter and increased the lead to 42-0. West Bloomfield then answered late into the fourth quarter scoring a touchdown with five seconds left in the game to close out the scoring.

The Lakers are now 1-2 and 0-2 in the Red travels to play Rochester, 2-1, 1-1 in the Red next week. Lake Orion will have a dangerous test next week when it returns home to play the 2-1 Stoney Creek Cougars on Friday night. The Cougars lost 19-14 to the Colts of Troy on Friday at home and they have to play Orion and Clarkston in two consecutive weeks.
