OAA Rankings-Week Three.

Written Saturday September 14th, at 12:40 AM

24. Ferndale Eagles (0-3): Even a middle school team can beat the Eagles.

23. Hazel Park Vikings (0-3): The same can be told for the Vikings.

22. Pontiac Phoenix (0-3): Phoenix has been outscored 85-25 in Red play in the last two weeks and that’s not even Lake Orion or Clarkston yet.

21. Bloomfield Hills Blackhawks (0-3): Blackhawks miss the Blue right now.

20. Southfield-Lathrup Chargers (1-2): Chargers offense looked horrible last week against Farmington. They have a tough one with Adams this week.

19. Farmington Falcons (1-2): Falcons defense saved the offense last week from total disaster.

18. West Bloomfield Lakers (1-2): Lakers look like a different team without Trishton Jackson on the field.

17. Berkley Bears (1-2): First win under the Chris Sikora era for the Bears. Bad news is they got Seaholm at Hurley Field next.

16. Royal Oak Ravens (1-2): Ravens got a dose of reality last week in loss to Avondale.

15. Troy Athens Red Hawks (1-2): Red Hawks got their first win last week. Their reward is a trip to Clarkston to play the Wolves.

14. Troy Colts (1-2): Colts playoff hopes are on life support right now.

13. Rochester Falcons (1-2): Falcons were crushed by Clarkston without Ian Erickson, come on man.

12. Rochester Adams Highlanders (1-2): Highlanders are 0-2 in the White for a second straight season. Ouch.

11. North Farmington Raiders (2-1): Raiders don’t have a passing game means trouble is looming in the Blue for them.

10. Avondale Yellow Jackets: (2-1): Yellow Jackets bounced back by beating Royal Oak last week.

9. Oxford Wildcats (1-2): The Wildcats two losses were a combined eight points. They are eight points from being 3-0 this season.

8. Beverly Hills Wylie E. Groves Falcons (3-0): Ross Williams is carrying the Falcons right now.

7. Birmingham Seaholm Maples (3-0): Maples need to start playing some real competition to get some respect.

6. Clarkston Wolves (2-1): DJ Zezula had three touchdowns last week means that the Wolves might have a passing game.

5. Southfield Blue Jays (2-1): Big game for the Blue Jays with Oak Park this week.

4. Harrison Hawks (3-0): Any win over Oxford is huge especially for playoff positioning.

3. Stoney Creek Cougars (3-0): Biggest game in the school’s history is this week when Lake Orion comes a calling.

2. Oak Park Knights (3-0): Knights got their first win north of M-59 over Rochester Adams in a street fight.

1. Lake Orion Dragons (3-0): Dragons just taking care of business right now. Stoney Creek is next and it will be a barn burner.
