OAA Picks Week Two.

Bloomfield Hills at 1. Clarkston: When looking at this game the Blackhawks look to be in big trouble against a good Wolves team that is determined to put more points up this week. Bad matchup for Bloomfield Hills. DD PICK: CLARKSTON 49, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 0. ANT PICK: CLARKSTON 41, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 3.

Rochester at 2. Harrison: The Hawks put 48 points up last week at Farmington. The Falcons allowed 42 points against Lapeer. Get the idea here??? DD PICK: HARRISON 56, ROCHESTER 0. ANT PICK: HARRISON 49, ROCHESTER 9.

3. Stoney Creek at 4. Oxford: This is a huge early Red matchup. The Cougars got a huge win last week over Rochester Adams but remember they beat Lake Orion last season and got blown out the next week by Clarkston on the road. The Wildcats won last week over Romeo and look to go 2-0 on the blue turf. DD PICK: OXFORD 28, STONEY CREEK 21. ANT PICK: OXFORD 17, STONEY CREEK 14.

Troy at 5. West Bloomfield: The Lakers were very impressive last week over Dearborn, meanwhile the Colts couldn't score a touchdown against Sterling Heights Stevenson last week. This game is where West Bloomfield started to make it's stand and they will continue to do so this week. DD/ANT PICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD 35, TROY 3.

Royal Oak at 6. Oak Park: This will be a nightmare game for coach Tim Chapman's Ravens. I was disappointed when Royal Oak gave up 26 unanswered points in a 26-3 loss to Utica Ford II last week. The Knights had a 26-13 lead late against Detroit Cass Tech only to lose 27-26 at Wayne State last week. Oak Park is not in a good mood and they will take out all fury on Royal Oak. DD PICK: OAK PARK 56, ROYAL OAK 0. ANT PICK: OAK PARK 35, ROYAL OAK 0.

7. Southfield at Rochester Adams: The Highlanders pass defense was exposed last week against Stoney Creek while the Blue Jays lost a tough game to Orchard Lake St. Mary's last week. Hard to believe that someone will be 0-2 after this game. History is not on Southfield's side in this series, they have never won at Adams in it's history. DD PICK: SOUTHFIELD 21, ADAMS 20. ANT PICK: ADAMS 21, SOUTHFIELD 20.

Hazel Park at 8. Avondale: Josh Holloman will be ready to go against a bad Vikings defense that allowed 44 points last week against Warren Fitzgerald. The Yellow Jackets who beat Redford Union 46-8 last week will be ready for next week against Farmington. DD PICK: AVONDALE 56, HAZEL PARK 0. ANT PICK: AVONDALE 49, HAZEL PARK 0.

9. Orion at Troy Athens: Matt Krause went nuts last week against Chippewa Valley but the question for the Dragons will be is can they get that balance with the passing game and also find a defense after allowing 38 points last week. The Red Hawks are balanced offensively but that had to score a touchdown with 36.6 seconds left last week in a 34-31 win over Macomb L'Anse Cruse North. Both teams have size up front and athletes but I see Orion pulling this one out. DD PICK: ORION 42, TROY ATHENS 28. ANT PICK: ORION 35, TROY ATHENS 14.

10. Groves at Ferndale: The Falcons found themselves some balance last week against Seaholm in a 42-19 win. The Eagles were impressive in Erik Royal's debut at Ferndale in beating Livonia Clarenceville 56-20. Clarenceville went to the playoffs last season at 11-1. This game will be very close but Groves might have a bit more balance to overcome home field. DD PICK: GROVES 24, FERNDALE 21. ANT PICK: GROVES 17, FERNDALE 14.

Southfield Lathrup at Farmington: The Falcons were just pathetic last week in allowing 48 points to mighty Harrison. The Chargers had a nice win last week over Detroit Southeastern 35-6. Also Southfield Lathrup remembers last season when they allowed 19 points in the fourth quarter to lose 25-6 to Farmington. The game this season is at the same place but it will be a different result. DD PICK: LATHRUP 35, FARMINGTON 20. ANT PICK: FARMINGTON 28, LATHRUP 17.

North Farmington at Seaholm: The Maples youth got to them last week in a 42-19 loss to Groves. The Raiders blew out Pontiac 42-0. This game is in the Maples Forest but this is a different Seaholm team than a season ago. North Farmington has the experience on both sides of the ball and could be a sleeper in the loaded White. DD PICK: NORTH FARMINGTON 28, SEAHOLM 12. ANT PICK: SEAHOLM 21, NORTH FARMINGTON 17.

Pontiac at Berkley: The Bears pulled off an impressive 31-7 win over Holly last week. The Phoenix in John Lloyd's debut got crushed 42-0 by North Farmington. Berkley has the talent to be a sleeper in what is already a loaded Blue this season. DD PICK: BERKLEY 49, PONTIAC 7. ANT PICK: BERKLEY 21, PONTIAC 3.
